The placement of artificial nests is intended to provide birds with a nesting place in areas where the lack of natural sites is a limited factor, but where food is plentiful. The traditional nest box with a hole is used only by birds that nest in natural crevices, such as cavities in trees.
The Animenatura project proposes a set of actions to raise awareness and support school projects and activities in a family or group context, within the scope of nature preservation and knowledge of local Biodiversity.
